A Google-inspired Site wants to be Your Homepage(PRLEAP.COM) FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Walla Walla, Washington - Adams200.com turns the game against big advertising budgets. 200 slots litter the main page of adams200.com displaying how much was paid for each. The website, launched in April, received overnight attention with little advertising. The idea behind the website is simple: Adams200.com takes the place of your normal homepage (often a search page or your service provider’s page) and ranks advertisers displaying how much they have paid. Before you search your way around the web, you can have a little laugh at the updated rankings. “Someday, adams200 will become a viable homepage because there is a large population of internet users who browse until something catches their attention,” the webmaster, Adam Hanley, says. “Money, especially coming from big advertising budgets, is always interesting. I’ve made a game of it.” The site wants to be your homepage. “My first goal for the site is to listen to the viewer. The ranking list is just something I thought would be interesting, since that is usually hidden information.” E-mails are guaranteed to be read by Hanley himself. Within days of opening, the website has responded to requests such as adding a Google search box and a bookmark option. Adams200.com was founded by Adam Hanley, a soon-to-be college graduate attempting to pay off his college loans. Following in the footsteps of young entrepreneurs like Alex Tew, Hanley has created a fast-loading homepage and a simple game, advertisers pay adams200.com to improve their ranking on the site. In turn, adams200 advertises how much money those advertisers, or “investors,” have spent. The website is also distributing images which display whoever is in the number one position, and how much they paid. The youthful attitude of the site is distinguishable in the rules section of adams200.com, which include “I reserve all rights to do whatever I like to this site” and “Purchasing a position on adams200 does not guarantee you will have control over that position forever.” Will this youthful stab at advertising budgets work? Only if the idea proves “interesting.” Contact information: Adam Hanley Email: adam@adams200.com http://www.adams200.com Key to Winning in PPC Marketing Ways to Make Quick and Easy Money with Google Adse...
