Affari Edge Expands to Better Serve Clients in the Bay Area and Beyond

The company has added a vice president of technology development, a director of public relations, and a business development team.

Vice President of Technology Development Chuck Palm has been a professional computer consultant for more than 15 years and has worked with small firms, hi-tech startups and Fortune 500 companies including IBM, Raymond James Financial, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. A certified Wi-Fi engineer, Palm installed the wireless network at the Orlando Arena. He is also an in-demand public speaker, technology writer, and trainer. In 2004, Palm was the winner of the Tampa Jaycees’ Best Business Plan in Tampa Bay competition. In addition to maintaining Affari Edge’s corporate network, Palm’s responsibilities will include consulting with clients to implement technology solutions, developing high-quality podcasts and coordinating a digital presence with the in-house marketing team.

Public Relations Director Estela Cabrero is a former Florida Department of Transportation public information officer and has worked with AARP, where she developed marketing and media strategies to increase awareness among Florida’s Hispanic population and assisted with a variety of lobbying campaigns and internet initiatives. She has also worked at the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation and Miami PR firm Palley Promotes where she worked on accounts in the hospitality, retail and fine arts fields. Cabrero is a graduate of Florida Southern College in Lakeland and is currently pursuing an MBA at the University of South Florida. Her duties at Affari Edge will include creating publicity campaigns and promotions for clients, as well as handling public relations and marketing for the agency itself.

Affari Edge’s business development team consists of Scott Kenny and Carolyn Webster. During his 36 year radio career, Kenny has worked for ABC, Clear Channel, and Infinity Broadcasting in both a sales capacity and as a promotions manager. He is a former Mr. Plant City and was once named honorary mayor of Brandon. Originally from Michigan, Wester was a partner in a massage therapy practice before relocating to Florida nearly two years ago. Kenny and Wester will focus on account acquisition and maintenance and will advise clients on appropriate advertising venues and promotional opportunities.
