Author and White Paper Guru, Michael A. Stelzner Slated to Present White Paper Techniques at The Society for Technical Communication National Convention.

(PRLEAP.COM) Poway, California – April 13, 2006 – Acclaimed white paper author and founder of WhitePaperSource Michael A. Stelzner, will be presenting at The Society for Technical Communication’s national convention to be held this year in Las Vegas, Nevada from May 7th through 10th.

The event is billed as the world’s largest gathering of technical communicators. According to the Society for Technical Communication, technical communicators who work in every type of media will be in attendance at the conference. Attendees will include technical writers, usability specialists, document managers, web designers, illustrators and multimedia artists.

The event will feature over 200 technical sessions with presentations, demonstrations, and panel discussions of industry relevant topics.

The white papers techniques panel will take place on Tuesday May, 9th.
Mr. Stelzner will be co-presenting the panel on white papers with Dr. Russell Willerton, a professor from Boise State University who specializes in white papers. Mr. Stelzner’s focus will be on different types of white papers, how they are used and how to craft a well-written white paper.

Dr. Willerton’s part of the presentation will focus on providing writers valuable white paper writing information, and conceptual information about what white papers are, who reads them and what readers expect to see in a white paper.
