Optimizing your cpc campaigns is easy; you
just need to do a little homework. Most
people think that if they are always bidding
to the top cost per click they will receive
the most exposure. That might have been true
not too long ago but now we have yield
optimization to account for.

Yield optimization allows the creative that
is yielding the best CTR to be shown more
often, regardless of the cpc cost. Smart
advertisers are making the most out of yield
optimization and taking advantage of it.

For example if you where to do a search in
Google for the keywords "foreclosure law" you
would see that a good amount of the ads have
the buzz words "stop foreclosure" in the
creative. So you want to be sure to take a
look at some other creatives before you
submit yours.

Running an alternative creative is a good way
to find out what buzz words to use. Even
creating a long creative and comparing it to
a shorter creative will give you some insight
on what works best.

The key is to maximize you efforts so that
you can reach the right customer at the right
time at the right cost for you.
