Control Solutions Announces Patrick Garrean Joins the Firms IIA QAR Team

(PRLEAP.COM) Control Solutions International, a recognized leader of outsourced and co-sourced internal audit solutions, has announced Patrick Garrean has been accredited by The Institute of Internal Auditors as an Internal Quality Assessment/Validation auditor. Mr. Garrean, a Manager for Control Solutions’ Internal Audit Services, will now be one of the firm’s team members dedicated to assisting clients comply with Standard 1300 of the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (Standards). He will conduct Quality Assessments of the internal audit departments of the company’s clients.

Mr. Garrean is a Project Manager for Control Solutions with nearly thirty years of experience as an accounting professional. Credited with a strong background in operational management within the financial services sector and strong technical accounting and supervisory skills, Mr. Garrean has most recently focused on independent validations of client self assessments and forensic accounting. Mr. Garrean holds a Masters in Science in Accounting from Roosevelt University and is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Retail Administrator.
