Earthbound Media Group Founders Lead New “AD 2 O.C.” Organization

(PRLEAP.COM) Irvine, CA — Two Earthbound Media Group (EMG) Founding partners have been appointed to the inaugural Board of Directors for the “AD 2 Orange County (AD 2 OC).” organization. The peer-to-peer based professional group is comprised of talented industry members, ages 32 and under, from O.C.’s advertising, marketing, public relations, and media production communities, as well as Southern California college students.

Damien Navarro, EMG Founding Principal and Vice President of Sales & Marketing, was appointed as AD 2 O.C.’s first President and is also an Executive Board member. EMG Co-founder and Executive Producer, Dr. Blaine Behringer, was nominated to AD 2 O.C.’s Board of Directors as the co-Chair of Web/Creative.

“We are extremely excited to be in on the ground-floor of the leadership of such a prestigious organization,” said Founding President of AD 2 O.C., Damien Navarro, “Blaine and I look forward to further expanding the reach and network opportunities for EMG.”

The need for this type of organization like AD 2 O.C. was born out of the growing number of young advertising, marketing, and media professionals currently in the established O.C. Ad Club. Navarro said, “As members of this dynamic and highly-talented community, we saw the opportunity to build the foundation for this organization. We wanted to offer our peers who are relatively new to the industry a place to grow and learn from the finest.”

AD 2 O.C. is also allied with all other “Ad 2” clubs around the United States and is governed by the American Advertising Federation (A.A.F.).

AD 2 O.C. will also harness the talents and knowledge of its valued members as they offer pro-bono services to non-profit charitable foundations. Interested members will participate in the production of national public service campaigns. “We believe it is important to give back to those in Orange County,” added Navarro.

AD 2 O.C. will be offering an array of professional development opportunities for its members such as exciting personalized networking events, members-only key forums, innovative webinars, a host of tailored discounts, and invaluable peer-to-peer creativity reviews. Overall, these valuable AD 2 O.C. programs provide members the contacts, education, and leadership opportunities they need to become tomorrow’s industry leaders.
