Event Marketing Secrets Revealed at Upcoming Exhibitor Seminar

May 28, 2005 -- The seminar will provide information to businesses on how to incorporate events into their marketing plan. The seminar was conceived by Carla Alvarez, owner of Legacy Marketing Services (www.legacymarketingservices.com), based on her participation in organizing community events. “One thing that I noticed at all the events I have helped with is that only three to five percent of the vendors, whether they were service or product oriented, had a good method for maximizing their return as an exhibitor,” stated Alvarez. “There was so much missed opportunity that I wanted to provide a resource for current and potential participants.”

“  Attendees will also receive an exclusive report.
Event participation can be a powerful avenue to expand a business’s client base, increase sales, and solidify community relations.

According to Suzanne Juel, president of Kingwood Event Coordinators (www.kingwoodevents.com), “Some of our sponsors have realized up to a tenfold return on their sponsorships and have booked events through 2006. KEC organizes community events for business owners, community associations, and groups interested in profit or charitable means.

Tony Austin of GameForce, Inc (www.gameforcecenters.com) agrees. The opening of GameForce, Inc, a PC and video game entertainment center, in 2004 was planned to coincide with a community event for maximum exposure. They have subsequently continued to participate in community events as they experience a significant increase in new customers in the period following the event. Event marketing is so successful for their business that they have allocated 40 percent of their marketing budget towards it.

The seminar will cover all aspects of participating in an event including: choosing the event, setting goals, pre-event marketing, creating a customer draw, selling to customer needs, and post event marketing. Attendees will also receive an exclusive report, “10 Ways to Maximize Profits.”

The seminar will be held at Homewood Suites, 23320 Hwy 59, in Kingwood. Two sessions will be offered: Monday, August 15th from 7:00 pm to 9:00; and Thursday, August 25th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Early registration is $25 before July 15th. Normal registration is $45. To register, contact Carla Alvarez with Legacy Marketing Services at 713.289.0819 or register online at www.legacymarketingservices.com.
