Group3 Communications Wins International Summit Award for Development of Cameron Village Web Site

April 23, 2005 --Group3 Communications LLC, a Raleigh, N.C., advertising and marketing communications company, is a bronze winner in the 2005 Summit Creative Awards competition for its outstanding creative work for Cameron Village. The agency won the honor in the Multimedia Web Site category.

Group3 Communications designed, programmed and delivered Cameron Village shopping center’s first database-driven web site, featuring profiles on all merchants. The site incorporates a user-friendly interface enabling quick and easy updates to merchant profiles, as well as administrative access to an integrated mailing list data collection system. Group3 Communications developed the strategy, design, content and html programming for the site and partnered with DASH systems for the database development.

The Summit Creative Awards, celebrating its 11th year, has established itself as one of the premier arbiters of creative excellence. It was created to recognize exceptional work by marketing creative firms including advertising agencies, video production companies, multimedia firms and other creative groups with annual billings of $20 million or less. It is the only opportunity such firms have to compete internationally.

Entries in 18 creative categories are judged against a stringent set of standards. Judges search for innovative and creative concepts, strong executions and the ability to communicate and persuade. This year's competition received approximately 3,000 entries from more than 20 countries including Australia, Austria, Canada, China, Croatia, England, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Kuwait, Latvia, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Russia, Singapore, Slovenia, South Africa, United Arab Emirates, and United States.
