Lenoir, TN Based Bluegrass Band - Outta the Blue To Be Among Featured Performers At This Years SHS Bluegrass Jamboree on April 15th.

(PRLEAP.COM) Dalton, GA (e-Grass) The hard driving Lenoir City, TN based bluegrass band Outta the Blue will be included in the Second Annual Southeast High School Bluegrass Jamboree to be held on April 15th.

Outta the Blue’s sound has been described by one listener “as refreshing as a cool tall glass of sweet tea on a warm afternoon.” This young group of ladies has played at numerous area and regional festival and events, winning the hearts of the audiences with their smiles and musical abilities. They have appeared with such groups as Pine Mountain Railroad, and Southern Cross, and have opened for Blue Moon Rising and the Sisters of the Silver Sage.
The band’s nucleus is composed of the Holloway Sisters of Lenoir City, TN. Laura (23), the oldest plays the upright bass, Michelle (21) provides guitar work, and Sondra Anne (16) is the group’s fiddle player. All of the sister’s sing and many of their high lonesome tunes have been crafted by their mother Nancy, who also serves as the band’s manager.
This year’s Jamboree will focus primarily on young and upcoming bands and will include the Lovell Sisters Band, The Barker Brothers, The Tunnel Hill Ramblers, The Baker Boys, Garrett Arb and the Grassy Mtn. Boys, and Browngrass. Also performing will be veteran bands Peachtree Station of Atlanta and Autumn Harvest of Chatsworth, GA.
There will be concessions, door prizes, free parking, and jam areas. SEHS is South of Dalton, conveniently located off I-75, approximately 85 miles north of Atlanta and 35 miles south of Chattanooga, TN, at 1954 River Road S.E. just off of the Dalton South By-pass. The music will begin at 3:00 p.m. and last until 10:00 p.m.
