Local Business Leaders Earn Their Wings

June 5, 2005 -- Rick Wachstein, Executive Director of CAIR Flight, Inc. announced today the appointments of several new members to the Boards of Directors saying the new members' diverse backgrounds reflect their business acumen and community involvement -- key traits for ensuring a healthier future for CAIR Flight, Inc and charitable airlift.

“These are dynamic and highly successful individuals who we expect to make enormous contributions to our board with their time and many talents," said Wachstein. "We are embarking on exciting new endeavors for which we will be seeking their leadership and guidance."

The newest members of the CAIR Flight Board of Directors are:

Ray Gonzalez – President and CEO of 9Seconds, a local marketing firm specializing in Search Engine Optimization and online promotions. Mr. Gonzalez also sits on the board of Youth As Resources and The Hillsborough County Schools Council for Technical and Career Education. His career has encompassed a variety of responsible positions in operations, marketing, technology and business development.

Cindy Russell is the Vice President of 9Seconds. In addition to board member duties Ms. Russell is involved with numerous corporate and civic activities and is committed to giving back to her community. She has served on the boards of several philanthropic and non-profit organizations.

Barbara Tyler is the owner of a fashion consulting business offering clothing, fashion consulting and life products. She is involved with various community projects and most recently assisted CAIR Flight in its inaugural CAIR Fair in which $12,000 was raised.

CAIRFlight is a charitable corporation formed to offer community-based airlift to those in need. Our goal is to eliminate distance as a barrier to accessing essential medical resources or reuniting families in critical times.
