New Verizon SuperPages Distributed

June 6, 2005 -- Verizon SuperPages is now distributing 2005 Syracuse telephone directories to residences and business locations. The white and yellow pages feature new Syracuse football coach Greg Robinson on the cover.

“Orange athletics are a big part of the Syracuse community,” said Lisa Miller, General Sales Manager – Verizon SuperPages. “Picturing coach Robinson on our directory cover was a great way to introduce him to residents.”

The Syracuse directory features a Community Magazine, a Dining Your Way! restaurant guide, coupons, Team Pages and an exclusive Health and Wellness section. Syracuse residents who do not receive their 2005 Verizon SuperPages by the end of June can request a free copy from the Order Center at 800-888-8448.

Current deliveries also include a two-page supplement for nearly 500 listings omitted from the directory because of a computer database error. Supplements are being mailed to book recipients who got their directories before the error was corrected.

Online shoppers can find precision search results using the No. 1 online directory, superpages.com. People on the go can get phone numbers, addresses, maps and more for businesses in Syracuse and across the country using superpages on the go on their Verizon Wireless cell phones.
