Online Marketing is one of the fastest growing areas on the Internet today as the recent Internet Advertising Revenue Report for 2004 confirmed. Issued by the Interactive Advertising Bureau & PricewaterhouseCoopers the report showed Internet Advertising spending reached $9.262 billion in 2004, a 32.5% increase from $7.267 billion in 2003.

In the UK there is also rapid growth, with online advertising at £653 million overtaking the amount spent on radio advertising for the first time.

“As a result of this growth we are anticipating that there will be more online marketing related jobs and career opportunities in 2005 and beyond” commented the founder of Online Marketing Jobs, Mike Taylor.

“We anticipate the increase in the number of jobs will still be with existing Internet Advertising and online businesses although we are now seeing a trend where a number of corporate employers are starting to recruit their own in-house online marketing employees as they expand their online activities”, continued Taylor.

The new Online Marketing Jobs site will follow on from the successful launch of www.JobsInSearch.com in October 2004 which promotes search engine related jobs and careers.

“Niche job sites like www.OnlineMarketingJobs.com and www.JobsInSearch.com can offer cost effective job postings to a targeted job seeker audience, with job applicants more likely to have the relevant industry skills and experience required.”

“By only concentrating on these niche areas we can provide web sites that have relevant information, not just about jobs, but about other online marketing and search engine related matters as well,” said Taylor.
