"PEOPLE’S" HD RADIO SITE GROWS AND ADDS MINI-BLOG

(PRLEAP.COM) Douglas Hanna, publisher and webmaster of www-hd-radio-home.com recently announced that his site has added both content and a new mini-blog.

"We have added new content," Hanna said, "including information on new HD receivers and a list of major stations that are broadcasting HD2 subchannels. These HD2 channels are one of the really exciting things about HD Radio because it permits stations to broadcast two programs simultaneously – their normal programming, plus a second type of programming. For example, a station could broadcast both country music and nothing but new country artists on its HD2 channel."

The blog that has been added to www.hd-radio-home.com is called a mini-blog, because viewers cannot post to it. However, it is updated almost daily. This means that by subscribing to its feed, people can stay up-to-date with what’s happening in HD Radio as more stations come on the air and more HD radios become available.

"We call this the "people’s" HD Radio site, Hanna reported, "because we’re not affiliated with any company or any group of broadcasters. We publish the news about HD Radio, both good and bad. Our reviews are honest as well. If one of our readers doesn’t like something about an HD receiver, we publish it. We’re here to educate people about HD Radio and not to push some particular agenda.
