Rosie’s 80th Marlin Fishing Tournament selects Spore Media to Produce Time Machine Video on Catalina Island

(PRLEAP.COM) Roger Cadman, Director of Rosie’s 80th Marlin Fishing Tournament, selected Spore Media to produce a “Time Machine” video highlighting the 2-day event. The tournament coincided with Rosie Cadman’s 80th birthday celebration. Spore Media was called upon to film the event and present a video presentation at the awards banquet on the final night.

Spore Media was hired to perform 2 days of filming on and off the island of Catalina. The filming included joining anglers on their boats as they fought for every inch of line against the high flying marlin as well as all the various activities the anglers enjoyed on Catalina Island. Spore Media also performed non-liner editing, on-site, for a presentation at the awards banquet held at the Channel House Restaurant. At the awards banquet, Spore Media also handled the staging, which included a rear projection screen, video projector, and sound system.

Rosie Cadman, a well-known figure of Catalina Island (www.catalina.com, was the long time owner of Earl and Rosie’s fish market that has been a mainstay on Catalina’s Green Pleasure Pier since 1967. Rosie’s son, Roger, held the tournament in her honor to give tribute to her 80th birthday.
