ShowMeLocal Launches Online Network for Local Businesses

“  Being a business owner myself I was trying to find a way to promote my business to my local customers.
ShowMeLocal.com allows businesses and customers to connect on a local level via the Internet.

Brooklyn, NY (PRWEB) January 8, 2007 -- ShowMeLocal (www.showmelocal.com) is an online tool that allows small business owners to connect with local customers and network with each other. The website enables business owners to get their message and marketing out to an online audience easily and effectively and target local customers. We are planning to introduce subscription services in the future to provide different levels of service for our clients, along with a free basic membership ShowMeLocal makes it easy for business owners to put their content online with simple tools that anyone can use regardless of Internet development experience. Business owners can use ShowMeLocal to publicize coupons and promotions, put up photos, general business info, job listings, and contact information. Users of the site can also utilize blogs to keep in touch with their customers and solicit feedback directly from customers through their ShowMeLocal listing. The site also allows business owners to form networks with one another and share customer resources.

"Being a business owner myself I was trying to find a way to promote my business to my local customers. It turned out that conventional tools are not as effective as they used to be, not to mention they can be very expensive, especially for small-budgeted business operations," says Eugene Belenky, Founder of ShowMeLocal. After a year of development, ShowMeLocal was launched in December 2006 as an alternative method of small business marketing allowing merchants to easily and inexpensively harness the power of the Internet. It has received rave reviews from early beta users.

ShowMeLocal is free for business owners to use during its beta phase. "We are planning to introduce subscription services in the future to provide different levels of service for our clients, along with a free basic membership," says Mr. Belenky. "We strongly believe that our concept is the best way for local merchants and customers to connect online."
