Alibaba Group stated on Sunday that Daniel Zhang will step down as chairman and chief
government officer of its cloud enterprise.
Zhang had beforehand been concurrently serving in three roles, heading the group in addition to its cloud unit.
He handed over the position of the group’s CEO to Eddie Wu on Sunday, who will
additionally take cost of the cloud unit after Zhang’s departure.
