A chilly wave bringing dense fog this week to elements of northern India disrupted flights for a fourth straight day on Wednesday, delaying greater than 100 and forcing cancellations of about 20.
Climate authorities forecast 5 extra days of fog, with minimal temperatures on Tuesday starting from 2 levels Celsius to five C in New Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.
As many as 109 flights from Delhi’s airport had been delayed and 19 cancelled, aviation web site Flightradar24 confirmed.
Low visibility ensuing from the fog has brought about widespread air site visitors chaos this week, with a whole bunch of flights out of New Delhi delayed or cancelled.
