The Ministry of Dwelling Affairs (MHA) introduced on Tuesday that the ban on the pro-Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun’s organisation, Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), has been prolonged for one more 5 years. The MHA prolonged the ban on the terrorist group for 5 years from July 10, information company ANI reported on Tuesday.
The ban was initially imposed in 2019. In response to a notification launched by the Union Dwelling Ministry, SFJ has been discovered to have interaction in actions deemed “prejudicial to the interior safety of India and public order.”

The SFJ has been accused of “being in shut contact with militant outfits and activists, and is supporting violent type of extremism and militancy in Punjab and elsewhere to carve out a sovereign Khalistan out of the territory of Union of India.”
The ministry stated the pro-Khalistani outfit is selling and facilitating actions geared toward separating a portion of Indian land from the Union of India. This consists of offering help to separatist teams inside India and in different areas who’re striving for a similar aim.
The Centre stated that if the “illegal actions of SFJ” are usually not managed instantly, the pro-Khalistani outfit will escalate its “subversive actions together with makes an attempt to carve out Khalistan Nation out of the territory of Union of India by destabilising the Authorities established by regulation”.
