Ryanair would search for another plane provider if U.S. tariffs materially have an effect on the value of planes it has ordered from Boeing, chief govt Michael O’Leary mentioned in a letter on Thursday, including that he would contemplate Chinese language planemaker COMAC.
“If the US authorities proceeds with its ill-judged plan to impose tariffs, and if these tariffs materially have an effect on the value of Boeing plane exports to Europe, then we will surely reassess each our present Boeing orders, and the opportunity of inserting these orders elsewhere,” O’Leary mentioned in a letter to a U.S. lawmaker seen by Reuters.
