The Division of Income has prolonged the tenure of workers loaned to the Competitors Fee of India (CCI) to deal with instances of the Nationwide Anti-Profiteering Authority (NAA) for an extra six months, in response to sources. This extension is the third granted by the income division.
The CCI can utilise the workers till September 31, 2024. The mandate of the NAA, initially arrange beneath the Central Items and Service Act in December 2017, was transferred to the CCI in December 2022.
