New Delhi: India has prolonged the free import of yellow peas by 4 extra months till October 2024, the Directorate Common of International Commerce (DGFT) mentioned in a notification including that the import is permitted with out the Minimal Import Worth (MIP) and port restriction circumstances.

In December final 12 months, the authorities allowed duty-free imports of yellow peas till March 2024 which was prolonged until April after which June.
