Stocks making the biggest moves premarket: CRWV, SMIC, COHR

Super Micro Computer experienced a notable rise of over 7.5% following its positive guidance for first-quarter earnings and revenue, exceeding fourth-quarter estimates. The company anticipates adjusted earnings between $1.01 and $1.10 per share, sharply exceeding the LSEG consensus estimate of 76 cents. Revenue is projected to reach between $14.5 billion and $15.5 billion, outperforming the expected $11.68 billion.

CoreWeave, an artificial intelligence cloud provider, saw shares soar by more than 18.5%. The company reported a second-quarter adjusted operating income margin of 5%, surpassing the FactSet consensus of 2.7%. Revenue reached $2.58 billion, reflecting a 112% year-over-year increase and exceeding expectations of $2.56 billion.

Lumentum Holdings, known for optical and photonic products, enjoyed an uptick of over 8% after reporting fourth-quarter adjusted earnings and revenues that surpassed projections. The company has seen substantial growth, with shares up over 120% year-to-date. Similarly, Nebius Group’s stock rose by more than 12.5% due to better-than-expected EBITDA and revenues.

Conversely, apparel company Kontoor Brands faced a decline of nearly 3% after revealing weaker-than-expected revenue of $584 million against a forecast of $587 million. Even so, it slightly exceeded earnings expectations and elevated its full-year guidance beyond consensus estimates.

Additional movements included H & R Block, which surged 11% after issuing a strong forecast for the 2027 fiscal year, and Cava Group, whose shares jumped nearly 12% on positive earnings and revenue reports. Meanwhile, software stocks such as Workday and Salesforce experienced declines of over 1.5%.
