Coca-Cola (KO) Q3 2026 earnings

Coca-Cola has revised its full-year financial outlook for the third consecutive quarter, anticipating stronger growth despite challenges in its domestic market. The company now projects a minimum 11% increase in comparable earnings per share, an upgrade from its earlier estimate of 9% to 10%. Additionally, Coca-Cola expects organic revenue to rise by at least 5%, slightly above its previous forecast.

In its third-quarter earnings report, the company revealed a net income of $4.01 billion, or 93 cents per share—up from $3.7 billion, or 86 cents per share, from the same period last year. Adjusted earnings per share reached 91 cents, surpassing analysts’ expectations of 88 cents. Revenue also exceeded forecasts, clocking in at $13.4 billion compared to the anticipated $12.92 billion.

While volume growth globally saw a 5% increase, the domestic market remained flat. Factors such as the Fourth of July holiday’s timing and a prolonged shortage of Topo Chico affected North American results. However, Coca-Cola’s Chief Financial Officer, John Murphy, emphasized the company’s strong underlying momentum, noting that consumers are increasingly seeking value amidst economic pressures.

Coca-Cola’s sparkling soft drinks segment experienced a 5% volume increase, driven by popular brands like Coca-Cola and Coke Zero. Notably, Diet Coke has seen a resurgence among younger consumers, who have embraced it as a trendy beverage choice. Despite gaining market share with competitors like PepsiCo facing challenges, Coca-Cola acknowledges that certain segments, such as Sprite, still need improvement.

The company’s water, sports drinks, coffee, and tea divisions all reported positive growth, primarily due to heightened demand for premium products like Smartwater.
