Stocks making the biggest moves premarket: GNRC, LEN, NKE

Generac, a leading generator manufacturer, experienced a substantial 33% increase in its stock value following a lucrative agreement with Amazon to supply backup power generators for the tech giant’s data centers. The initial delivery phase of this deal is projected to be worth $2.4 billion between 2027 and 2028. Additionally, Generac has granted Amazon the option to purchase up to $340 million in company stock. In response, Amazon’s shares rose by 1.3%.

Conversely, Lennar, a prominent homebuilder, faced a decline of 1.2% in its stock after reporting disappointing third-quarter earnings. Lennar announced earnings of $1.19 per share, falling short of the $1.28 per share expected by analysts, and reported revenue of $8.05 billion, below the consensus estimate of $8.23 billion.

Fluence Energy’s shares plunged by 22% after the company revised its full-year guidance downward. The battery storage provider now anticipates revenue of $2.4 billion for 2026, down from a previously projected range of $2.9 billion to $3.1 billion. Furthermore, Fluence expects to face a loss of $200 million before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization, exceeding earlier loss estimates.

On a more positive note, Nike’s stock rose by 1.5% upon announcing Alexandre Arnault, Deputy CEO of LVMH’s Moët Hennessy, would join its board. The company expressed confidence in Arnault’s ability to drive innovation and growth.

Arm Holdings reported that its CEO, Rene Haas, expressed optimism about meeting demand for a new data center chip, contributing to a 4% increase in the company’s shares.
