Several companies have seen significant stock movements during midday trading, highlighting varying performance trends in the market.

Tesla experienced a 5% increase following its report of third-quarter deliveries that exceeded analysts’ expectations. The electric vehicle manufacturer delivered 486,532 vehicles, surpassing the 461,100 units anticipated by analysts from FactSet.

Broadcom’s stock rose over 3% after news broke that the semiconductor company is set to lend Anthropic up to $42 billion, intended for infrastructure purchases. Reports indicate that investment banks will raise this amount through a combination of Class A senior secured and Class B debt.

In contrast, Nike’s shares fell nearly 6% after the company’s fiscal first-quarter revenue fell short of projections, with a reported 4% decline in sales attributed to a drop in demand in China. Additionally, Nike plans to implement workforce reductions by 2027.

ON Semiconductor and Synaptics showed strong performance, with Synaptics’ shares surging 14% after ON Semiconductor revised its buyout offer to $123 per share, valuing the deal at approximately $5.7 billion.

Other notable movements included Nexalin Technology, which saw a 26% drop following the announcement of a new agreement with Inovanexa Medical Technologies, and an increase of 2% for Vylor after being added to the S&P 500 index. Seagate Technology and Western Digital both fell 13%, following reports of Toshiba’s plans to double its production capacity for hard disk drives. Allegro Microsystems climbed 9% after gaining favorable coverage from RBC Capital Markets, while Arxis gained 4% due to an upgrade by the same firm.
